What are Non-standard Tungsten-carbide Components?
Custom cemented-carbide (tungsten-carbide) parts are not mass-produced to GB, ISO, DIN, JIS, ANSI or other general standards. Instead, they are tailor-made to the customer’s specific operating conditions, drawings or samples.
Common non-standard variations
- Dimensional non-standard: OD, length, bore, angles, tooth profiles, etc. outside standard series.- Grade/composition non-standard: Co content, WC grain size, TaC/NbC or rare-metal additions adjusted for the application.
- Structural non-standard: internal coolant holes, threads, steps, integrated sintered assemblies (e.g. carbide body + steel shank).
- Coating/post-processing non-standard: specified PVD coating type/thickness, laser marking, mirror polishing, etc.

- Special-geometry wire-drawing or tube-drawing dies- Shaped punches, dies, cutting inserts
